Cmb Master Thesis Award
Cmb Master Thesis Award uppmärksammar framstående examensarbeten inom Construction Management. Utmärkelsen tilldelas det examensarbete som på ett särskilt föredömligt sätt bidrar till utvecklingen av samhällsbyggnadsbranschen genom att förena akademisk kvalitet med praktisk relevans.
Priset syftar till att lyfta fram nya perspektiv, idéer och lösningar från nästa generations samhällsbyggare och synliggöra examensarbeten som kan bidra till framtidens ledarskap och management inom sektorn.
Det vinnande bidraget tilldelas diplom och stipendium.
Vem kan delta?
Studenter som går sista året på Chalmers masterprogram Design and Construction Project Management (DCPM) har möjlighet att få sitt examensarbete bedömt inom ramen för Cmb Master Thesis Award.
Bedömning
De inkomna examensarbetena bedöms utifrån arbetets relevans för branschen, analytiska höjd samt förmåga att koppla samman teori och praktik. Examensarbetet ska:
- Tydligt redogöra för betydelsen av management och/eller ledarskap samt analysera dess påverkan på den valda problemställningen.
- Bidra med tankar, idéer eller resultat som främjar en hållbar utveckling.
- Visa ett framåtriktat perspektiv genom att presentera nya lösningar, arbetssätt eller insikter med relevans för branschen.
Process
Examensarbeten och tillhörande material ska skickas in senast den 31 juli 2026.
Det vinnande bidraget presenteras och uppmärksammas vid en prisutdelning den 22 oktober 2026. För att kunna ta emot utmärkelsen behöver vinnaren/vinnarna ha möjlighet att närvara vid prisutdelningen.

Instructions in English
The Cmb Master Thesis Award recognizes outstanding master’s theses within the field of Construction Management. The award is presented to the thesis that, in an exemplary way, contributes to the development of the construction and real estate industry by combining academic excellence with practical relevance.
The purpose of the award is to highlight new perspectives, ideas, and solutions from the next generation of industry professionals, and to showcase master’s theses that can contribute to the future of leadership and management within the sector.
The winning contribution will receive a diploma and a scholarship.
Who can apply?
Students in the final year of the Design and Construction Project Management (DCPM) master's programme at Chalmers University of Technology are eligible to have their master's thesis evaluated as part of the Cmb Master Thesis Award.
Evaluation
Submitted theses will be evaluated based on their relevance to the industry, analytical quality, and ability to connect theory and practice. The thesis should:
- Clearly demonstrate the importance of management and/or leadership and analyse its impact on the chosen research problem.
- Contribute ideas, insights, or findings that promote sustainable development.
- Demonstrate a forward-looking perspective by presenting new solutions, approaches, or insights relevant to the industry.
Process
Master’s theses and accompanying materials must be submitted no later than 31 July 2026.
The winners will be recognized at an award ceremony on 22 October 2026. To be eligible to receive the award, the winner(s) must be able to attend the ceremony in person.
