Cmb Mentorship Programme
The Cmb Mentor Program is the forum for students who want an invaluable exchange of experience with skilled leaders from various parts of the built environment sector – and for professionals who wish to establish valuable connections with tomorrow's leaders, develop their skills as mentors and leaders, and learn more about the industry they work in. The purpose of the program is to create conditions for a dialogue that helps both mentors and mentees clarify their motivations and develop their leadership skills.
The Mentor Program is primarily aimed at students enrolled in the master's program Design and Construction Project Management (DCPM) at Chalmers, and secondarily at students in other relevant master's programs at Chalmers. It is intended for students in their second year.
You can become a mentor if you currently hold a leadership position (not necessarily as a manager) at one of Cmb's over 70 partner organizations and have at least a couple of years of professional experience. You need to be comfortable conversing in English, as the master's programs accept international applicants, and so do we.
The Mentor Program includes four mandatory meetings where all mentors and mentees participate, as well as an optional number of one-on-one meetings between mentors and mentees (recommended 4-8 meetings). As the number of spots is limited, it is important that applicants ensure they have the conditions to complete the program.
